US AU PAIR
Do you dream of going to the USA and sharing the life of an American family as one of its members: daily life, sports, cultural activities... You progress in the language of the host country within the family or you can choose to take lessons in a school. You work up to 10 hours a day (maximum 45 hours a week). You are fed and housed in your host family and receive pocket money in return for childcare and light housework.
You have access to a scholarship from your host family and your return ticket to USA IS FREE!
CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
✅ Be between 18 and 26 years
✅ To be single
✅ Hold the minimum Baccalaureate
✅ Have a good level of English (conversation and comprehension)
✅ Have a driving license and be totally comfortable driving
✅ Have a solid experience in childcare (200 hours minimum)
✅ Leaving for 12 months, preferably during the school year

HOST FAMILIES
Most host families are located in the regions of New York, New Jersey, Washington and California. No placement will be offered in an isolated area.
Once your placement has been confirmed with your host family, you will have access to a specific training session : “ Au Pair USA Online Academy " who will help you prepare for this exciting experience. Online training includes lessons on child development, pediatric and adult CPR, first aid training, American culture, life as an Au Pair, personal safety and many other important topics. The " Au Pair USA Online Academy » uses a variety of training methods, including live sessions with Au Pair USA staff, videos, online courses, and offline activities. Once you have completed this session you will be ready to travel to your host family.
