AU PAIR CANADA

You share the life of a Canadian family in the same way as one of its members: daily life, visits, sports activities... and you also participate in the education of children by being close to them and benevolent. Your missions are divided between hours of childcare and participation in routine family tasks; your host family may ask you to baby-sit. In Canada, depending on the needs of families, schedules can range from 25 to 45 hours per week.

You benefit from a minimum of 1 day off per week and one full weekend per month. You receive pocket money (between $230 and $390, or between €150 and €250/week depending on the number of hours worked per week).

You progress in English with your host family and you can also take classes at school during your free time. The choice of school will depend on the place of residence of the host family. You benefit support from our partner in the host country for any questions during your stay.

* Placements can take place throughout the year but note that the strongest requests are for arrivals in September for the school year and in January until the summer.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

✅ Be between 18 and 30  years

​​
✅  Be single and of French nationality

​

✅ Be a non-smoker, in good health and have a clean criminal record

​

✅ Hold the minimum Baccalaureate

✅  Have a good level of English (conversation and comprehension)

✅ Be available for 9 to 12 months during the school year, possibility to extend your Au Pair stay up to 24 months

✅ Have a solid experience in childcare (200 hours minimum)

✅  Be able to perform common household tasks such as preparing meals for the children, tidying up the children's rooms and the kitchen, vacuuming etc. (heavy managerial work is of course excluded).
