AU PAIR WELCOME

✅ Your family is unique, your needs must be studied together and we do everything we can to offer you the profile of the person who meets the specific needs of your family.

✅ Only the family can assess whether the personality of the candidate and her language level meets her needs, it is always you who decide "in fine" to make the welcome come true.

✅Finding the person who will take care of your children takes time, you consult each file exclusively for 48 hours and send us your selection for telephone connection.

SELECTION OF FILES

Our agency makes every effort to satisfy your request, so that your experience is satisfactory for your family, but also for the Young Au Pair. For this reason, the criteria of constitution of the family, location, age of the children have priority over the criterion of the  "nationality" and we ask host families to be  open to all nationalities.

​

Although the majority of placements are for young girls, each year we also place a few Au Pairs. ​

NATIONALITIES OF CANDIDATES

​

The AIS agency offers a wide choice of nationalities: Mexican, Colombian, Vietnamese, Chinese, German, Austrian, Swiss, Hungarian, Russian .... On request, we can also present you  "Native English" candidates: American, Canadian, Australian, South African (limited number).

INTEREST FOR THE FAMILY ​

An Au Pair is not just a babysitter in charge of looking after your children: he also becomes a member of your family, being part of the intermediate generation between you and your children. He makes you discover his country and its culture, thus becoming a support for your children who can also learn a foreign language.  "Pair" comes from the Latin par, meaning "equal"; thus the international denomination “Au Pair” carries with it the idea of parity.

MOTIVATION FOR AN AU PAIR STAY

​

Every Au Pair decides to come to France with the aim of learning our language and our culture. In exchange for childcare and light housework (25 hours per week), she receives pocket money, full board and lodging. The family ensures that French is the language spoken in the family.

SERVICE: OUR BUSINESS

​

We discuss your needs over the phone and where possible we want to meet with you before the first placement. Upon receipt of your complete file (registration fees and placement fees, letter of presentation of your family, photos of your family, registration form), we present you with an application file that best meets your request; this file includes a letter in French, photos / video and references (childcare and personality).

​

We remain at the disposal of the Young Au Pair and the host family throughout the duration of the stay: we provide the desired information on existing French language courses; organize contacts with other "Au Pairs" living the same experience and meet families who wish to help them start relationships with their Au Pair.

FOLLOW-UP

​

The AIS agency monitors all the stages of your placement and throughout the duration of your Au Pair's stay, in case of questions, need for adjustments, etc. You will receive the declaration procedures from the competent authorities: Urssaf declarations, social security registration, insurance. We send you several supports allowing you to prepare well for the arrival of your Au Pair and to live this experience in all serenity.

Our rates are adapted to the length of stay you choose. You will receive the complete registration file on request.

SCHOOL YEAR

​

The vast majority of Au Pairs arrive at the end of August to spend the school year with their host family, which also allows them to attend school in France if they wish. We also have many arrivals from January for periods of 6 months.

SUMMER

​

From May/June, you can welcome a young AU PAIR to spend the summer with your children, he will accompany you to your vacation spot or assist the grandparents. His schedules are more flexible, he will have 1 free day per week and will progress in French with you because the language schools will be closed. During the summer the contact and the exchange are more intensive but also more relaxed.
